•  Project Management:- Smooth running of a project is vital, project managers oversee every stage of every contract - from feasibility to delivery all aspects of the function are carefully monitored to deliver a fit for purpose product on time.

•  Compatibility and Compliance:- Effective fire protection of buildings, their contents, and occupants is essential and, because correct specification, installation and maintenance are "governed" by Building Regulations and British Standards, there is an overriding responsibility for all concerned to ensure compliance. All TDSL's doorsets embrace fully tested and compatible components to conform to the performance standards appropriate to their use.

•  Life Cycle and Durability testing :- TDSL is undertaking a rigorous series of tests at Chiltern Dynamics to assess doorset durability performance up to the severe duty ratings of prEN 12400. The testing regime embraces, Cyclic operation, Strength, and Dimensional stability. TDSL are in a unique position to provide overall service life costing for a range of doorset designs that will be of particular interest to the healthcare and Education sectors .

•  Third Party Certification :- TDSL are members of the BM TRADA Q-Mark fire door scheme. The scheme is based on recognised quality assurance standards with additional requirements to take account of the performance of the doorset. The scheme has a number of essential requirements covering factory production control, documentation and test/assessment evidence, together with a series of specific requirements which address factors including fire resistance and mechanical performance.

•  Environmentally Responsible, Fire Rated Doorsets :- TDSL acknowledges that the only way to ensure timber is legal and sustainable is to purchase from independently certified sources. The certification scheme run by the Forest Stewardship Council ( FSC ) is the most credible global forest certification scheme. TDSL is currently in the process of securing FSC chain of custody certification through BM TRADA.

•  Value Engineering & Design Development :- TDSL's innovation and experience in this field is proven and effective without compromising performance.

•  National activity but local contact, commercial offices in Glasgow , Stockton , Manchester , Leicester, Swindon and London.

•  Test Evidence :- Second to none BS and EN test evidence in respect of Fire, Acoustic, Mechanical, Durability, and Security. All of which can be presented at the pre contract stage to ensure complete verification and compliance.

•  Single Source Satisfaction :- Total responsibility ( through one supplier- TDSL ) simplifies choice, production, purchase, compliance, and delivery. TDSL controls quality and performance of materials as well as manufacture at each stage of the doorsets assembly - including project specific and fully compatible hardware.
